As I write this very first post, it's already 8 pm and here I am enjoying every second of my time on the weekend 'cause life is now getting even real. Like literally. Everything feels changing so quickly, and if you know me in real life, yep, right here I am currently standing in the middle of my 20s. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-fledged adult, trying to become who I'm going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk. But still, I am nowhere near where I want to be. But I’d like to talk about the process I’ve been through as a 25 year old. And here is some of the things I learned so far.
- Do saving. 'Cause life is unpredictable. I've been through some hard times involving money, many times, but maybe this is for another story.
- Put yourself first, always.
- Your mental health is way more important than everything in this world combined.
- Side hustle is good but know your limit.
- Every second of your time is priceless, spend it on something that makes you happy, choose wisely who you spend your time with. For real guys.
- Any form of physical exercise helps, even as little as 5. Just simply take a walk around your house in the morning, or do running, or do home workout, anything. Even if it's only 5 minutes, it matters.
- Yes, your friendship will always get tested, it will definitely get tested anyway. Try to have a thick skin to let them go, sometimes.
- All of your emotions is valid, and please, please, don't ever try to be a strong person by covering up your feeling and emotions. That shit doesn't make you strong. That shit doesn't work.
- There will always a time somebody will try to do shitty things on you, try to deal with it, then leave.
- Your own grass is green enough if you look at them closely, let's try to love it, appreciate it, be proud of it.
- It’s ok to cry sometimes, with or without a reason. It’s ok, it’s ok.
- Genshin Impact is such a scam, but I love it. lmao :(
- Coffee do really helps, especially to those times at 1-3 pm, every weekdays.
- Some songs just make more sense sometimes. Especially when you’re not buying what life offers or simply buy the idea of nothingness. Dangerously good. Sometimes.
- Self-love is quite an underrated thing.
- Most people will only love you and support you when its beneficial.
- There’s too many rewards to count from not giving a flying fuck to things that really do not matter.
- There’s no need to feel special for something you know better. Share it to the wide world. Make it useful.
- I found out that sometimes forgiving others is much easier than forgiving yourself. Yet, I'm still on progress to forgiving myself for everything that is happened in the past, even 'til these days.
- You have to stop feeling guilty about the past, cuz it’s done. And try also to not feeling anxious about the future, ‘cus it’s no point, it hasn’t happened yet.
- All we can do is plant all we want, but 99.99% of life we simply can’t cantrol, and there is only one thing we can control, which is our response to life.
- I feel like life is a mirror and a reflection. What you give yourself, you can give to others. You can give people money, when you actually have money. You can make people happy, when you're happy. You can't give others money or happiness, if you have neither. Still so much things to learn about this point.
- We do always have a choice in this life. To stay, to leave, to love, to grow.
- At 25, you know less than what you think you know.
- Last but not least, life is hard, obviously, but everything will be ok at the end.
I’m learning to try, and retry.
